Hi! I’m Lucie, a French illustrator based in Barcelona, Spain, with a particular affinity for colors and organic lines. I mainly work with traditional techniques, including gouache and colored pencils.

My sources of inspiration include nature, food, history, and the folklore of the places where I’ve lived or visited. I was also strongly influenced in my youth by cinema and textiles. Although I was raised in a purely French environment, I’ve been living abroad for over ten years, and multiculturality has always been a source of joy and inspiration for me!

After an initial career in marketing — during which I got a bit lost, but gained valuable experience working in teams and understanding the overall goals of a business — I returned to school and earned a postgraduate degree in Narrative Illustration for Children’s and Young Adult publications from EINA (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) in 2023.
